1. Using Kluarga

These terms are the agreement between you and the people who build Kluarga. By creating an account or using the app or this website, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Kluarga.

Kluarga is a family organizer. It holds what your household plans, buys, cooks, spends and records about its health, and it keeps that in sync between the people in your household. It is a place to put your information and share it with the people you choose — nothing more. It does not give advice, make decisions for you, or check whether what you entered is right.

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Children belong in Kluarga as profiles managed by their parents, not as account holders.

2. Accounts and households

You sign up with an email address and password, or with your Google account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@kluarga.my.id if you think someone else has got in.

A household is the shared space. Whoever creates it is a parent in it. Parents can invite others by sharing an invite link, and can add members who have no account at all — children, a helper, a grandparent. Joining through an invite link links your account to the member profile that is already waiting for you, rather than creating a second one.

Roles decide what a person can see and do. Parents can see household money and conversation cards; Child and Helper roles cannot. Parents manage members and invites. Health entries follow the visibility you set on each one, whatever the role.

Treat an invite link like a key to your home: anyone who opens it joins your household and sees what that role is allowed to see. Only send it to people who live your family life with you.

3. Your content

What you put into Kluarga stays yours. We claim no ownership of your events, recipes, photos, health notes or anything else, and we do not use your content for any purpose other than running the service for you.

To run the service we need your permission to store your content, copy it for backups, and transmit it to the devices of the people in your household you chose to share it with. That permission is limited to those things, lasts as long as you keep the content in Kluarga, and ends when you delete it.

You are responsible for what you add. Please only add information about other people — including your children, and including photos — where you have the right to do so. If you add something about a person who later objects, that is between you and them, and we will help you remove it.

You are also responsible for keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We take care of your data, but no online service is a substitute for your own backup. Export is in More → Download my data.

4. Not medical advice

Kluarga is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice.

The health log and medicine cabinet record what your family enters or what a doctor has already prescribed. Kluarga does not suggest a dose, recommend a medicine, interpret a temperature, or offer a diagnosis — by design, and never in a future version either.

A medicine reminder is a reminder of what you told it, at the time you chose. It is not a clinical alarm and it is not guaranteed to arrive: notifications depend on your phone, your network and your browser’s push service, any of which can fail or be delayed. Never rely on Kluarga for anything time-critical in someone’s care.

Always follow your doctor, your pharmacist, and the leaflet in the box. In an emergency, call emergency services — do not open an app.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • use Kluarga to break Indonesian law, or to harm, harass, stalk or monitor another person, including anyone in your own household;
  • use another person’s account, or try to reach data that is not yours;
  • probe, scan or attack the service, or attempt to get around the privacy rules that protect other households;
  • resell, rent out or repackage Kluarga as your own service;
  • upload malware, or content that is illegal to possess or share.

Kluarga’s privacy settings — especially “Only me” health entries — exist so that people who share a home can also keep something to themselves. Using Kluarga, or pressuring someone in your household, to defeat that is a misuse of it.

If an account is used this way we may suspend or close it. Where we can, we will warn you first and explain why.

6. The beta service

Kluarga is in beta. That means, honestly:

  • features will change, and some may be removed;
  • you will meet bugs, and some of them will be ours to fix slowly;
  • the service may be unavailable while we deploy, or when a provider we depend on has an outage;
  • it is free during the beta, and we will tell beta families about pricing well before any public launch — you will never be charged without agreeing first.

Kluarga is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will suit a particular purpose of yours. We do promise to tell you the truth about what works.

Kluarga needs a connection. Without one you can see what was last loaded, but you cannot save. When a save fails the app tells you and keeps what you typed; it will not discard your input silently.

7. Ending your account

You can leave at any time. Export your data first (More → Download my data), then email support@kluarga.my.id to have your account closed. We will confirm, and delete within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you are one of two parents, leaving does not delete the household — your partner keeps the shared calendar, lists and expenses. What was yours alone goes with you. If you are the only parent, closing your account closes the household too.

We may close an account that breaks section 5, or if we have to shut the service down. If we ever discontinue Kluarga, we will give you at least 60 days’ notice and keep export working until the last day. We will not take your data away without giving you the chance to take it with you.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that: Kluarga is a free beta service provided by a very small team. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunities, for data you lost but could have exported, or for a missed appointment, a missed dose, or an undelivered notification. Section 4 says why that last one matters: Kluarga is a record, not a safety net.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service, which during the beta is nothing.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Kluarga changes. The date at the top of this page says when they last changed.

For significant changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. If you do not agree with a change, you can export your data and close your account; continuing to use Kluarga after a change takes effect means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Indonesia.

If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still stand.

Before anyone goes near a court, please email us. Almost everything is a misunderstanding that one honest reply can fix.
